Chocolate Frosting
This recipe makes enough to frost 24 cupcakes, or a 9x13-inch cake, or a 2-layer (9-inch) cake with a thin layer of frosting between the layers and on top.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Stir melted butter and cocoa powder in a bowl until evenly mixed.
- Add in confectioners' sugar and milk; beating until smooth and easily spread. Stir in vanilla extract.
